The school, which has 60 pupils, introduced a project, Enterprise in Education to design a tartan, specific to the Mulbuie area. The children applied for registration to recognise the tartan as a unique Scottish tartan, and it is now included in the world’s register. Harrods in London are to display the tartan this year and Scotrail are interested in using it for upholstery.
