External Spaces Team – Fife Council

The team asked more than 500 children and young people in Fife for their ideas about how to develop the spaces outside schools and nurseries.

The result was Design Brief, a book full of ideas on how to improve playgrounds, such as a ‘rainbow seat’ for 30 children, a solar-powered fountain, and a den covered in turf.  The team also raised £600,000 to improve playgrounds.
