BT Scotland ICT Learning Award

Members of Bowmore Primary School with their BT Scotland ICT Learning Award

Bowmore Primary School

The school’s under-five unit uses a Promethean Interactive Whiteboard, which proved a valuable learning tool in all areas of the curriculum, particularly communication and language. By using the pen children were improving their early writing skills as well as sharing, informing and responding to each other as they explored the whiteboard.

The unit is also piloting the use of an interactive voting system, ACTIVote. Each child has their own personalised ‘pod’ for voting.
