Alistair Tait has taught Technological studies at Fortrose Academy for over 38 years, during which time he has shown an unparalleled commitment to both the staff and pupils of the school.

His pupils are motivated by his enthusiasm for the subject and by his ability to continually develop new imaginative and creative ideas. By keeping his pupils engaged in the course, his pupils and the department as a whole have consistently received high results.

In addition to all of the work Alistair does at Fortrose, he has also made a real impact at all eight of the local schools.  Be it constructing play equipment for the local primary or holding an evening woodwork class, Alistair’s dedication to his community, his school and most importantly his pupils is clear for all to see.
