Dunbog Primary School is a small school with big plans and an even bigger event calendar. Enterprise is at the heart of all of their activities, which is of benefit to the students, the local community and even to a global network of individuals.
Projects undertaken by the school this year have included various seasonal parties, Spring & Summer walks, World War II book launches, Christmas cards stalls and a 'Scrooge' production, the 'Rotary Quiz plants Project' and the 'Toy design play day' to name but a few! This school is continually working on enterprising projects which generate profit that is then donated to a school in Malawi with whom the school has a strong partnership. However, the main beneficiaries are the 28 pupils who as a result of being involved, now naturally seize opportunities, plan towards goals, are confident to try new things, and are more than capable of modifying and developing ideas for positive results. The children are motivated and continually challenged to be enterprising global citizens.
