The Scottish Daily Record Award for Lifetime Achievement

This Award is open to all qualified teachers and headteachers approaching the end of their career, and aims to recognise their work and commitment throughout their education career. 

If you know anyone who fits one or more of the criteria below, why not nominate them for this award.

• Acts with a clear sense of purpose and vision to improve educational opportunities for all pupils
• Sustains high levels of energy and commitment throughout his or her career
• Acts purposefully to achieve his or her goals with outstanding results
• By their example, acts as a role model, inspiring and engaging others
• Shows a continuing commitment to his or her own professional learning and personal development

The winner of this award will go forward as a finalist to the UK-wide National Teaching Awards.

Nominations for the 2008 Education Awards are now closed. Finalists will be contacted in March/April.
