Scottish Education Awards

Cambridge Education and Learning Unlimited International Schools Award

This category is about how the cross-curricular area of International Education can encourage young people in your school, or authority, with a range of knowledge and skills to develop an understanding of the world and Scotland’s place in it.

If you can respond positively, and in some detail to the following questions, we would welcome your nomination.

  • Can you provide examples of cross-curricular approaches your school has developed to ensure that international education is delivered throughout the whole school? This could include links with schools in other countries or creative ways of exploring other cultures.

  • Can you describe how your school has developed innovative methods of learning about international education through cross-curricular approaches - such as linking together languages with sustainable development or citizenship issues?

Nominations for the 2008 Education Awards are now closed. Finalists will be contacted in March/April.
