This category is about how we can encourage young people to take a greater interest in the issues of sustainability and climate change.
If you can respond positively, and in some detail to the following questions, we would welcome your nomination.
Does your school or a school that you know seek to promote sustainable policies and activities wherever possible? What processes and activities have been put in place to encourage pupils and staff to take part in sustainable activities and what have been the outcomes of these processes?
How does the school engage others in supporting learning and development around the sustainability agenda, including teachers, parents, teaching assistants and other professionals?
Can you provide examples of a vision that your school has about what is to be achieved through sustainable policies and activities and the benefits that they bring. Can you describe how they are communicated?
Can you describe the benefits that your activities have had on teaching and support staff, pupils and the wider community?
