MGt, the largest local employer, became disaffected with pupils seeking jobs, who did not have an understanding of the basic commitment and skills needed to hold down a job.
The Business Ready programme between MGt and Kirkcaldy High School aims to prepare pupils to enter work. Initiatives include work-shadowing on MGt sites, job application skills and interview preparation.
